Night of the Harvest Moon
-PROLOGUE-
An old woman skulked down the street, her bright, silver eyes gleaming in the moonlight.
You'd think it peculiar, such an old woman, out at such a late time, and in the dark streets of downtown New York. Yet, this old woman had a certain task she was dedicated in doing. A certain task that would change the life of one teenage girl for the rest of her life...
Should I go on? The girl's name is Leslie. Comment if I should go on with this!
"Daddy! Daddy!" a small girl yelled.
The girls father lay on the couch, motionless and drooling.
"Layla, your father is sleeping," the girls mother said from the next room.
The toddler ignored her mother and slapped her father's face, "Wake up, daddy!" she yelled, smacking over and over.
"AY!" he yelled, holding his cheek, "What'd you do THAT for?!"
Layla looked at him with guilt and started sniffling.
"No- no-no, Layla. It's okay! Daddy didn't mean i-"
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!" she wailed.
"Um...Winry!" he yelled for help.
But she was already at the door, shaking her head, pointing and laughing at him. He glared.

'Ugh, my back is killing me! My mattress needs flipped. It feel like I'm sleeping on dirt!' I thought, slowly waking up.
My eyes fluttered open and gasped. I WAS sleeping on the ground-on gras-in a forest. I could barely see some mountains, but I did see enough of the peaks to make me scream.
"AHH!Where am I?Mom?Dad?Hello?!?!ANYBODY?!" I yelled.
I scrambled to my feet.
'I'm...I'm...I'm lost.Where am I?How did I get here?'I thought.
I felt a warm tear flow down my cheek, flollowed by another, and another, all until I started to flat-out weep.
My face was so wet my brown curls clung onto my face.
All of a sudden, I heard whistling in

When The World Falls Asleep...
The leaves are drifting away,
The sun is ending my day.
The trees are saying good-bye,
In my bed is where I'll lie.
Outside the world is sleeping,
Sadly, the sky is weeping.
Thunder escapes in a boom,
The flowers are set for bloom.
I slowly drift off to bed,
Good dreams are always ahead.
I walk in every school day,
Everytime I think "Yay!"
A soft chatter rising, while instruments are being put together,
All of the familiar noises make my heart flutter.
I sit in my chair, flute on my lap,
Then the conductor comes out and gives out a *CLAP*
How I love my band members and music, as you love family,
Then I look around, and notice this is a family, well practicly.
You look around and what do you see?
A world gone wrong, a world we should flee.
You see litter and dark water all around,
But, that's just looking down!
Up in the sky, not very high, you see all sorts of gases,
A mixture of revolting smells in huge masses!
Most people think, :What am I supposed to do? Tear it all apart?"
You can help. Reduce, reuse, recycle, DO YOUR PART!
One by one this world can change,
And Planet Earth can go to the healthy range.

Happy Birthday,Marlin Party
No matter what time of day, or in what kind of weather,
Through the stupid fights and our stubborness,
My best friend will be there for me.
I'll be there the way I hope you'll be here for me,
I can't imagine a world without you,
Because you're my best friend.
Now,best friend, I want to say Happy Birthday,
And thank you for putting up with me and my craziness.
That shows me you're my best friend.
When all is "lost",
Or so you may think,
Pick up what you have and hope.
Hope that you'll find love,
Love that makes your heart ache from overfilling.
With a person that loves you for you, and whom brings you bliss,
A love so strong each kiss is meaningful and passionate.
Just hope your dreams will come true,
You'll be happy and fulfill those dreams.
Because when all goes bad, as it will have to some time,
You'll need to hope once again.
Within hope, all can become true.

The warmth of my father's comforting arms holding me,
The cute innocence that always made my mother give in to anything,
Waiting for my siblings to come home from school by the window,
I miss it all.
The peaceful bike rides around the cul-de-sac,
Having friends who were boys without getting teased,
The short walk to the park just behind my house,
I miss it all.
Drawing pictures in chalk that only little girls would on the driveway,
Trick-or-Treating in m y own neighborhood 'til dark,
Coming home to the "blue house" everyday, where everything was easier,
I miss it all.
I truly miss the memories of childhood,

I loved the way you made me melt,
At every word you said.
There are no words to describe how I felt,
I was completely oblivious, to what was to come ahead.
All those compliments were lies fed to me by you,
I believed you cared about me, but I know I'd dread the truth.
You still didn't care, you beat my heart black and blue,
You wasted my time, my summer, and my youth.
The days after, I really wasn't hurt, but confused.
You were out of my life as fast as you came in.
Not only confused, but I also felt used,
And you also said we'd be friends, but not once have you asked how I've been.

I wake up in the night,
Screaming and crying with fright.
Mother comes and comforts me,
Trying to get into my locked up imagination but has no key.
I kick and cry, wondering why there is no end,
The fright has become so adherent.
Another night, another nightmare,
The same nightmare of the man with a glare.
And everyday I wonder why,
Why the manhas not made me die,
But I know that he will try.
